Reachable Readers is….

A sequential language program for students at the earliest stages of acquiring English. In each unit language repeats, grows in complexity and is reinforced throughout the series. Speaking, listening, reading and writing are taught simultaneously using pre-reading, reading and post-reading activities. Language is acquired through meaningful contexts as well as explicit, systematic instruction.

Reachable Readers is based on current research for multilingual language acquisition as well as fifteen years of experience working with emergent multilingual learners in the public schools.
